Job Summary
Concord Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery – Laconia is seeking a highly-skilled and motivated board eligible/certified Orthopedic Surgeon to assist in the growth and development of a successful orthopedic practice to serve a community with significant need.
ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality medical care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Qualifications- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Residency training in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Board eligible/certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship trained in adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgery, if applicable.
- Eligible for medical license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
Work Environment Requirements
The Dictionary of Occupational Titles Material Handling Classification is LIGHT. The employee must regularly lift, carry or push/pull less than 10 pounds, frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 pounds. The employee is regularly required to hear and speak. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, do repetitive motion and perform activities that require fine motor skills.
The employee is occasionally required to bend, climb, reach, drive, smell, squat and stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, far vision, near vision, and peripheral vision. The employee is frequently exposed to airborne pathogens, blood borne pathogens, and bodily fluids. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne contaminants, radiation, chemotherapeutic agents, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical hazards – shock, non‑weather related heat or cold, variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts and slippery surfaces.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
