Travel Registered Nurse – Med-Surg / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Location: Laconia, NH (local travel within 50 miles possible)
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $2,380 per week
Shift: Night Shift | 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Weekend/Holiday Coverage: As scheduled

Job Overview:
Seeking a skilled RN for a travel assignment in Med-Surg and Telemetry. Candidates must have at least 1–2 years of Med-Surg experience, with previous travel experience preferred. The role requires flexibility, the ability to float between nearby locations if needed, and proficiency with patient ratios and acuity typical for Med-Surg and Telemetry units.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in Med-Surg and Telemetry settings
• Monitor patients using telemetry and provide appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Document all care accurately in EMR (Cerner experience preferred within last 12 months)
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care
• Float to nearby facilities as required
• Take a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding (preferred score 80%+)

Requirements:

• 1–2 years Med-Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; NHISS required prior to start
• Two recent Charge/Manager RN references in specialty
• Valid driver’s license with matching address
• Willingness to float to nearby hospitals if needed

Preferred:

• Previous travel RN experience
• Critical Care RN background, fluent with Med-Surg ratios and acuity
• Rural or small hospital experience
