Recreation/Activity Coordinator
We're seeking an enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team and help promote and implement engaging activities for our residents. This role requires a self-starter, as you will often work independently with minimal oversight. You'll assist residents during meals and provide light housekeeping, while facilitating both one-on-one interactions and group activities. You'll also transport residents using Taylor Community's 15-passenger bus and other vehicles for off-campus outings.
Training will be provided for bus operation. Your efforts will play a vital role in enhancing our residents' lives through joy and entertainment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Nursing Assistant preferred but not required.
- Dementia training preferred, with a willingness to learn more
- Previous experience in activities coordination
- High energy to encourage resident participation in programs
- Flexible schedule, with availability for some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid, clean driver's license
