Infection Preventionist/Staff Educator
Taylor Community is in search of an Infection Preventionist / Staff Educator to lead infection prevention and control initiatives across all levels of care within our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). This role also oversees clinical education and training programs to ensure staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the highest standards of resident care. The ideal candidate is a collaborative healthcare professional with strong clinical knowledge, teaching skills, and a passion for quality improvement and resident safety.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first line of defense for resident and staff safety through training and education.
- Maintain the facility’s activities focused on preventing healthcare‑associated infections by ensuring that sources of infections are isolated to limit the spread of infectious organisms.
- Train internal staff in compliance with Taylor Community’s annual training plan and deliver educational in‑services and training of pre‑approved Taylor Community modules that meet company protocols and standards.
- Interview and facilitate the movement of candidates through the onboarding process for all health care applicants.
- Function as a floor nurse when time allows and when needs are evident, with occasional weekends and holidays to ensure proper training for all staff.
- Licensed nurse in the state of NH.
- Valid NH driver’s license.
- Completion of a criminal background check and drug testing.
