Travel RN - Medical ICU

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical ICU position requiring 2-3 years of ICU experience and the ability to float across multiple units.

• Active NH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration (temp license not accepted)
• 2-3 years of ICU experience required, with stronger independent and fast-paced clinical skills expected for candidates closer to 2 years
• ICU and Stepdown experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

• Medical ICU setting with float requirements to Stepdown, ED, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health Annex (training provided for Behavioral Health)
• 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, weekdays with every other weekend
• Uses equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, Arctic Sun/TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
• No on-call requirements
• Care for a variety of critically ill patients requiring independent, fast-paced clinical judgment
• Weekly orientation provided
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local rate eligibility
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• 3 professional references required once committed, with at least 2 from leadership
