American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour night shift position requiring advanced telemetry experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

• Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Advanced telemetry experience required
• Uses Cardizem and insulin drips (for hyperglycemia, not DKA) and Phenobarbital on telemetry
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float to other Concord Hospital locations on an emergency basis

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med/Surg specialty
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• 2 recent Charge/Manager RN references required
• NURSYS report with verification of all active RN licenses required
• RTO must be included at time of consideration

• Provide direct patient care to Medical/Surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Weekly orientation provided
• First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered
• Local candidates accepted at a local rate within 50 miles
• Former perm staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
