Job Summary
Child Protective Service Worker – Adolescent I‑IV Division for Children, Youth & Families, Laconia District Office, State of New Hampshire.
Pay & BenefitsHourly: $22.50 – $42.60. Benefits include medical, dental, prescription drug coverage, retirement plans, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and paid holidays.
Responsibilities- Provide entry‑level to advanced case management for adolescents and their families, ensuring compliance with court orders and state/federal statutes.
- Develop and maintain Solution‑Based case plans, adult living preparation processes, and aftercare services.
- Consult, educate, and train staff, collaborators, and providers on adolescent services, including mapping resources and opportunities.
- Participate in Permanency Planning Team meetings to support adolescents’ transitions to responsible adult living.
- Document case activities, court reports, and bridging documentation; complete required training, including 30 hours of in‑service training annually.
- Engage in internal and external committees, conferences, and user‑experience sessions; mentor interns or newer staff as needed.
- Travel to homes, group homes, and community agencies to facilitate placement and living preparation.
- Education:
Associate’s degree in social work, human services, or related field; 2 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with 1.5–7 years of experience (requirements increase by level). - License/Certification:
Valid driver’s license or transportation access. - Availability:
Must work non‑traditional hours, attend team meetings, and travel to client locations. - After‑hire:
Complete the CPSW Academy within 12 months. - Preferred:
Experience with children, families, or adolescents; leadership/mentoring ability.
Advancement to higher Social Worker levels is available within the same agency structure, based on experience, training certification, and performance.
