Venture Aerobearings LLC, a joint venture established by SKF Group and GE Aviation, manufactures aeroengine bearings for GE jet engines in Ladson, SC. The position offers a state‑of‑the‑art environment, a combination of GE and SKF technologies, paperless operations, and tremendous growth potential in aerospace.

• Work from layouts and dimensions on drawings and read manual gauges.
• Load, align, and set up machines per drawing instructions and maintain quality production records.
• Operate in a high‑performance work team environment and adhere to Environmental Health & Safety Guidelines.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in setup and operations of CNC grinders, lathes, milling equipment, or completion of a recognized machinist or toolmaker program.
• Willingness to work any shift and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop math, and have knowledge of machining methods and cutting tools.
• Completion of a company‑specific mechanical skills assessment.
• Pass a pre‑employment physical/drug screen, background check, and ongoing random drug screens.
• Pass a visual examination (near vision and color perception).
• Willingness to work any shift.

• Computer literacy for Statistical Process Control, CMM measuring, and CNC controls.
