Cnc Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a CNC Operator with previous experience in the setup and operation of CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in working from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings, and possess the ability to read manual gauges. This role requires attention to detail and precision in maintaining quality production records.

• Set up and operate CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment.
• Work from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings.
• Load, align, and set up machines per drawing instructions.
• Maintain quality production records.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop math, and machining methods.
• Utilize knowledge of cutting tools and machining methods.
• Demonstrate computer literacy for Statistical Process Control, CMM measuring, and CNC machining.

• Minimum of 2 years of CNC experience.
• Experience with mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Proficiency in setup and changeovers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of GD&T, calipers, micrometers, and programming.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LADSON, SC.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 – $28.00/hr.
