Hires, Inc. is seeking a Shipyard Structural Assembly Fitter to lay out and assemble structural steel per engineering specs and digital drawings. You will measure, mark, and prep with precision tools, grind, drill, ream, and assemble to required fit-up.
Working in a heavy industrial shipyard environment, you will verify alignment and tolerances, perform in-process quality checks, and coordinate with welders to complete assemblies safely and efficiently.
