Quality Inspector

Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized recruiting firm is currently seeking Quality Inspectors for our industrial client in Ladson, SC.

• Perform incoming direct material verification and inspection including paperwork review, material and inspection data verification, quality release activities and data entry.
• Perform incoming outside vendor process certification including certification verification, quality release activities, and data entry.
• Ensure required material testing and analysis is completed for production parts, verification of material testing certifications, quality release activities and data entry.
• Maintain quality databases.
• Support site audits.
• Conduct root cause and corrective action activities.
• Support inspection and gauging.
• Maintain quality records including filing, labeling, storage and retrieval as needed.
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.

• High school diploma/GED
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Quality experience.

• Contract-to-Hire role
• Hiring for 3rd shift only with training on 1st shift
• Hours:
  
  10:00pm - 6:30am
• Compensation: $23.00/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential
