HC has partnered with a fast‑growing, mission‑driven consumer goods company with sustainable and on‑trend products to find a highly motivated Assistant Graphic Designer with strong organizational skills. Reporting to the Design Director, this role is a key member of a small design team in a high‑growth environment. The primary focus of the role is to provide support to the design team on both the creative and operational side on a variety of design projects.

The ideal candidate possesses strong graphic design skills, a creative mind, and strong organizational abilities to ensure projects are delivered on time.

• Assist in the creation of visual assets, including logos, illustrations, layouts, and graphics for various projects.
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute designs.
• Provide support to graphic designers by assisting with design tasks, preparing files for production, and conducting research as needed.
• Manage the design team files and records documentation, such as creative briefs, art files, checklists, and samples, ensuring files are properly labeled and accessible to team members.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and report status updates to different teams.
• Conduct thorough reviews of prototypes and samples to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Address revisions or feedback provided by clients or other teams in a timely manner.

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, commercial art, or a related field.
• Proven experience (at least 1 year) in graphic design or a related field.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Basic skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel) are a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
• Keen design sensibility and an eye for color, texture, fabrics, and patterns with a passion for current design trends.
• Strong interpersonal resourcefulness and ability to cultivate cross‑functional partnerships.
