Lecturer in Clinical Psychology

Sunway University is seeking a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology within the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences . The incumbent will play a key role in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as conductingimpactful research.

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology,utilising innovative and effective teaching methods.
• Mentor, advise and provide guidance to students on academic and career pathways in psychology.
• Contribute to the academic community through active research,publications, and participation in professional conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the department's curriculum and contribute to interdisciplinary projects across the University.
• Clinically trained lecturers will also have an opportunity to provide clinical service at Sunway Psychology and Counseling Centre at Sunway University.

• Graduates with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with registrationas a full member of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP).
• For international applicants who are not MSCP members, please provideadditional documentation to indicate the number of direct client hoursacquired during Master in Clinical Psychology program, overall clinicaltraining hours, as well as types of clinical placements assigned during training.
• PhD or Doctorate in Psychology is preferable.
• Proven excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduatelevels.
• A strong commitment to student-centred learning and inclusive teachingpractices.
• Active engagement in scholarly research with a record of publications inpeer-reviewed journals.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse academic environment.
• Preferably a minimum 3 years of experience providing evidence-basedpsychological assessment and interventions (e.g., interventions with acognitive behavioural orientation) for diverse clients and patients post-Master's degree.
