We are seeking a temporary, part‑time Lower School Learning Support Assistant for the Spring 2026 semester to provide targeted academic support for students in Grades K–5. The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with classroom teachers and the Student Support Team to deliver in‑class math and literacy support, as well as assist during weekly WIN (What I Need) intervention blocks. This role is ideal for someone who is collaborative, student‑centered, and committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Hourly Salary Range (based on experience): $25.00 – $32.00
Position is a Part‑Time (approximately 10 hours per week).
Temporary position is not eligible for benefits.
Position Responsibilities- Provide targeted math and literacy support to students in K–5 classrooms.
- Deliver in‑class assistance during core instructional periods and small‑group learning activities.
- Support students during weekly WIN (What I Need) intervention blocks, adjusting to their individual needs.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and the student support team to align strategies and interventions.
- Contribute to a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth.
- Shape the region’s strongest college‑preparatory program through academic excellence and experiential learning.

- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s in Education or Special Education preferred. - Teaching credential in Special Education (SPED) preferred.
- Experience working with elementary‑aged children in school or enrichment settings.
- Strong ability to support early literacy development and foundational math skills.
- Flexible, patient, and able to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and families.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
