Dawson has several Summer Camp Counselor positions available. Roles are filled on a first-come, first-served basis

- Must be 16 years of age or older by the start of camp
- Must attend the mandatory staff meeting on May 29, 2026
- Must complete all required student safety and child protection trainings (licensing requirements), including Introduction to CPR and First Aid,
before June 1, 2026 - Summer Camp Dates:
June 1 – July 24, 2026- Minimum commitment: 2 weeks (not necessarily consecutive)
- Work hours:
8:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. (camp begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.)
- Hourly rate:
Starting at $16.82 per hour - Summer Camp Counselor positions are temporary and not eligible for benefits
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to a summer camp setting
- Ability to meet emergencies with good judgement; ability to work under pressure
Ability to work with children and adults of diverse backgrounds - Ability to recognize potentially hazardous conditions
- An attitude that exemplifies teamwork and personal responsibility
