Job details:

Position: CT Technologist $$SN$$
Location: Lafayette, Colorado
Shift: Days – Tuesday–Friday (11:00 AM – 8:30 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week
Call: Rotating call and assigned holidays

Job Duties

• Perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

• Operate CT equipment and related imaging systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

• Verify patient identification and exam orders and prepare patients for procedures.

• Perform examinations according to department protocols and evaluate images for quality and accuracy.

• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique guidelines.

• Provide patient education, comfort, and assistance throughout procedures.

• Administer contrast media according to established protocols under appropriate supervision.

• Maintain accurate patient and procedure records.

• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent patient situations.

• Communicate pertinent information with physicians and other healthcare providers.

• Maintain competency in CT procedures, equipment, positioning, and imaging protocols.

• Associate Degree required

• ARRT (R) required

• ARRT (CT) required

• BLS (AHA) required

• State licensure as applicable

• Radiation badge required

• 1–2 years of CT experience preferred

• 1–2 years of acute-care/hospital experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of sectional anatomy, positioning, CT protocols, and contrast administration
