As our Payroll Director you will lead our full-cycle payroll operations, a community integrated healthcare organization operating across multiple sites and shifts. You will oversee the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all payroll processes and serve as the subject matter expert for our UKG Payroll/HRMS system, specifically the payroll and timekeeping modules. Are you a hands‑on, detail‑oriented leader who has assessed workflows, addressed system and coding issues, and built scalable processes in past roles?

Profile
  • Are you a proactive systems thinker who thrives on improving broken processes and creating scalable solutions?
  • Do you have experience translating technical payroll and compliance details into clear, practical guidance for managers and staff?
  • Have you managed payroll in a healthcare environment, with shift differentials, on-call pay, and provider compensation structures?
  • Do you have experience running payroll in a union environment?
  • Are you on top of current payroll laws and regulations, especially those affecting healthcare and/or 24/7 operations?
  • Have you successfully built cross‑functional relationships with HR, Finance and Operations to ensure effective communication?
  • Do you have experience building and managing KPIs to track payroll accuracy and efficiency?

What We Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field
  • Seven (7+) years’ experience in a payroll role, including experience in system configuration
  • Two (2+) years’ experience with UKG Pro & Workforce Management with prior experience in system configuration or optimization
  • Four (4+) years leadership and management experience
