About the RoleNow Hiring:
Part Time Cook. We’re seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team and help deliver high-quality, nutritious meals to our residents. In this role, you’ll prepare and serve food in accordance with approved menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines, ensuring delicious and safe dining experiences for all.

- Maintain timely meal service and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Review daily menus and event calendars to confirm necessary ingredients and supplies
- Prepare meals that are nutritious, visually appealing, and consistent with residents' dietary needs
- Follow standardized recipes and make substitutions only when authorized
- Serve food using proper portion control methods
- Assist with preparing special meals for events and celebrations
- Accurately estimate portions and manage leftovers to minimize waste and control food costs
- Adhere to state and county regulations regarding sanitation, food safety, storage, recordkeeping, and chemical handling
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., steamer, oven, grill, meat slicer, mixer, grinder, dishwasher)
- Maintain organized, clean, and compliant cooler and freezer spaces
- Complete daily cleaning assignments to uphold sanitation standards

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience as a Cook preferred.
- Healthcare/skilled nursing home experience preferred.
- Serv Safe certified preferred.
