As Kitchen Leader, you will learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You are responsible for making sure our food is absolutely delicious. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will help ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s delicious food every day, keep the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

• Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures while ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back‑of‑house crew and front‑of‑house crew.
• Develop crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair malfunctioning equipment as quickly as possible.
• Ensure that the kitchen and all crew members meet the necessary guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and inventory rotation (FIFO).

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Base pay range: $17.15–$19.06 per hour. Base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education. Chipotle offers a competitive benefits package. Visit  for more details.
