The Assistant Store Manager is the first‑line representative to the William Warren Properties customers in the Store Manager’s absence and may be assigned to multiple sites.

• Maintain daily operations of the site and support the Store Manager with revenue, delinquency management, occupancy, cleanliness standards, and customer service.
• Assist with responsibilities across four to six store locations.
• Actively listen to customers, understand their unique situations, and recommend solutions that meet or exceed their needs.
• Become a subject matter expert on self‑storage and communicate it to customers.
• Manage the entire rental process: converting a sale, taking payments, selling merchandise, offering insurance, assisting customers with truck rentals, pursuing past‑due accounts, and guiding customers on their journey.
• Inspect stores daily, including lock checks, maintain an impeccable facility, perform minor maintenance and custodial duties, and clean vacated units promptly.
• Contact vendors for routine maintenance or repairs.
• Accurately handle cash, balance receipts, post payments, process bank deposits, and reconcile petty cash.
• Travel to the post office and banks as necessary.

• $17.50 - $19.00 per hour + competitive bonus potential.

• Preferred: 1+ years in Customer Service or Sales experience.
• Tech savvy is a plus.
• Experience in cash handling is required.
• Must be available on weekends.
• Passion for guest service and sales.
• Team‑oriented with ability to support and motivate colleagues for a collaborative environment.
• Strong accountability, work ethic, and enthusiasm for teamwork.
• Positive, outgoing personality and appetite to learn new things.
• Experience in retail or service industry preferred.

• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and stoop frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently; push up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to lift above head frequently.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to operate tools and maintenance equipment with manual dexterity.
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal format frequently.
