Software Engineer

Pay 33-37/h depending on experience

In the role as Software Test Engineer I, you will work with cross functional team members and program level stakeholders to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies, specifically in Digital Health. You will work in a diverse, high performing team whose job covers several aspects of the product development process, with focus on manual testing, documentation, and test automation activities.

• Collaborate with lead engineers and feature owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria;
  Participate in scrum teams and functional reviews to contribute to technical decisions that result in a robust, maintainable, and reliable system by defining appropriate test coverage of new and existing features
• Create documentation for verification and validation activities in accordance with software development and test procedures for both applications and tools
• Manually execute test protocols and collect test evidence;
  Manage test scope, test scenarios, and provide test automation deliverables in a timely manner

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

1+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures. May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.

An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation – while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.
