Youth Basketball Official – Lafayette

Position:
Youth Basketball Official at YMCA of Northern Colorado & Southern Wyoming.

Schedule:

Part-time. Games on Friday nights 4:30–9:15 PM and Saturday mornings 8:30 AM–4:00 PM.

• Salary range: $15.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience, availability and certifications.
• $10 % differential for bilingual staff fluent in Spanish and English.

• Assist in officiating and parent interaction.
• Ensure games run smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Age 15 years or older.
• Significant involvement and understanding of the sport.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days.
• Ability to organize and engage groups of children.
• Ability to break down a skill and explain it so participants can understand and perform.
• Excellent communication and work with diverse people including kids, staff, host staff, and community members.
