Project Manager – Industrial Electric, Inc. An IEI Project Manager manages every facet of assigned project(s), including safety, organization, planning, scheduling, subcontractor scheduling, and day‑to‑day issues, resulting in completion of a project on time, on budget, and with quality that meets or exceeds IEI’s and the customer’s expectations.
Responsibilities- Serve as a vital team member managing the project team in all aspects of the build, ensuring completion on time, under budget, and exceeding expectations.
- Project Start‑Up:
Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits. - Develop schedule for all phases of the build.
- Assist with permits, required due dates, and communicate impacts.
- Develop and implement project‑specific processes and procedures.
- Project Build:
Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day management and construction activities with the Project Superintendent. - Manage project costs through ongoing evaluation of labor, material, and equipment.
- Interface with all company departments to resolve issues.
- Liaison between client, company, subcontractors, and government officials.
- Ensure all safety measures and requirements are met, followed, and practiced.
- Project Closeout:
Ensure substantial completion as defined in the specifications. - Assist with submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals and warranties for a smooth closeout.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field
- Or 7–10 years relevant work experience in the construction industry
- OSHA 30 Certification
