Responsibilities
  • The incumbent provides independent diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving patient care plan goals.
  • Provides medical supervision of the interdisciplinary team and supervises residents and medical students.
  • Participates in clinical research projects of interest.
  • Remains current and professionally competent.
  • Shares call responsibilities with other physician members of the assigned areas. 1 in 4 weeks.
  • Participates in medical audits, QA programs, investigations, peer review, and other inquiries relating to the standards of professional care.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Oncology.
  • MD/DO Indiana license or eligible.
