We invite a physician with a passion for meaningful work to join our well‑established Palliative Care team at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN (home of Purdue University).

• 1.0 FTE Department Chair, collaborating with interdisciplinary inpatient and outpatient teams and expanding the ambulatory service line in the region.
• Clinical oversight of Palliative Care physicians, APPs, and nurses.
• Advocate for the program to executive leadership and partner with other Palliative Care department chairs across the system.
• Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM. No call, no holidays.
• Adult inpatient/outpatient consult service.
• Well‑established comprehensive inpatient team.
• Approximately 25‑30 patients per week (adult‑geriatric, stroke, oncology, multiple comorbidities).
• Provide virtual support to our two critical access hospitals.
• Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents.
• Participation in hospital and system‑wide incentives.

• Board eligible or board certified in Palliative Care.
• Palliative Care fellowship required.
• MD/DO with Indiana license or eligible for licensure.
• Consistent and consecutive employment/training history.
