Job Description & How to Apply Below

Recent graduate (or soon-to-graduate) with an Associate’s degree or technical certificate from a community college or tech school — especially Ivy Tech Community College (Indianapolis campus) in programs such as Electronics & Computer Technology, Industrial Electrical Technology, Advanced Automation & Robotics / Mechatronics, or related fields.....
This is a technician role where you work alongside engineers and learn to do engineering-level work.

You’ll program and support manufacturing automation equipment, including robotics, PLCs, machine controls, vision systems, and other automation equipment, and help connect them into the plant’s systems. Training is provided, so if you’re a hands‑on technical graduate who wants to move beyond standard technician duties, this role gives you that path.

What you’ll do:
  • Program, troubleshoot, and support robotics, PLCs, machine controls, vision systems, and other automation equipment
  • Help integrate equipment and robots into the manufacturing plant automation equipment
  • Work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to keep equipment running reliably
  • Learn new programming platforms and take on increasing systems and robotics responsibility
What we’re looking for:
  • Recent graduate (or soon-to-graduate) with an Associate’s degree or technical certificate from a community college or tech school — especially Ivy Tech Community College (Indianapolis campus) in programs such as Electronics & Computer Technology, Industrial Electrical Technology, Advanced Automation & Robotics / Mechatronics, or related fields
  • Solid hands‑on technical foundation and comfort working with manufacturing equipment and robotics
  • Basic programming knowledge or strong willingness to learn
  • Hands‑on projects or lab experience (Arduino or PLCs or robotics or vision systems, controls, etc. is a plus)
  • Desire to work with engineers and grow into programming and systems work
Why choose this:

You work directly with engineers and get training to take on engineering‑level responsibilities - in robotics, equipment programming, and manufacturing automation.

Competitive pay + bonus in Indianapolis for technical graduates who want more than a typical technician role.

This opportunity is a strong fit for recent Ivy Tech and other local tech school graduates with backgrounds in electronics technology, industrial technology, mechatronics, robotics, PLC programming, or manufacturing automation in the Indianapolis area.
