Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• On-call requirements: 10 shifts per month with weekend call included

• Weekend call required every 3rd or 4th weekend

• Call shifts: 1-2 weeknight calls per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours in one work week for 8 and 10 hour shifts

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

• Floating is 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby

• Required certifications: ARRT(R) and BLS

• Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist required

• 18 months experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Local Indiana residents accepted for this position

• Block scheduling may be accommodated upon discussion

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for patients from pediatric through geriatric

• Follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly

• May be required to scrub into procedures as needed

• Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams required

• Must be able to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition doesn't permit routine positioning

• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

The facility utilizes Cerner electronic health record system and provides free parking for staff.
