Location:
Lafayette, IN. Schedule options include 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with late days on Tuesday and Wednesday until 7 PM, or 4–10 hour shifts with Wednesday off (some flexibility, except Tuesdays).
- Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being
- Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families (ages 10 and up)
- Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development
- Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records
- Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS
- Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior
- Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes
- Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals
- Enter data into patient charts to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study
- Licensed mental health clinicians including: LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LPCC, LCPC
- Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
- Prior counseling experience in behavioral mental health treatment (e.g., depression, mood disorders, substance use, family counseling, marital relationships, grief)
- Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence for diverse populations
- Experience identifying, preventing, and treating suicidal behaviors
- Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available resources
- Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings preferred
