Position: REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technician – Milestones Autism Center

Do you have the passion to make a difference in someone's life academically, socially, and behaviorally through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA therapy)? In this role you will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst. This position requires lots of energy and the ability to think outside the box.

Requirements for Candidates Who Are Not RBTs

New hires will be expected to complete a 40‑hour training, in‑house training during a probationary period, and certification to become a Registered Behavior Technician.

Qualifications
  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting
  • Must have a passion for working with children with disabilities
  • Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and individual treatment plans developed by BCBAs
  • Accurately collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of behavior intervention plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans
  • Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client
  • Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs from the floor
  • Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff
  • Uphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with BACB ethical guidelines
  • Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families
  • Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, and commit to continued learning and performance improvement
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA laws and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
