We are seeking a full-time Cook to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana is a state-of-the‑art inpatient rehabilitation hospital providing compassionate care to patients in Greater Lafayette and surrounding communities. We specialize in intensive rehabilitation for people overcoming strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, multiple trauma, and complex orthopedic conditions. Our interdisciplinary rehab team – including therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation physicians – tailors comprehensive therapy programs for each patient, helping them relearn skills and gain strength through physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and innovative rehabilitation techniques.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Equivalent in education or experience required.
• Food Handlers License required.

• Knowledge of patient diets and safe food handling requirements and use of Nutritional Care Manual.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

Responsible for providing healthy food for patients, employees, and visitors. Prepares food ensuring that strict safety standards are followed. Creates menus and orders supplies for the hospital kitchen and cafeteria. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
