Manager - IT Data Analytics & EBS

The Manager of Data Analytics & EBS is responsible for managing a team of data engineers, analytics architects, data analysts, and IT Business Partners to coordinate SIA’s technical capabilities and functional business needs to realize outcomes that enhance organizational performance in addition to managing the organization’s vast data streams and functions for organizational objectives. This position will also function as a main business partner for the total organization and function as a representative of IT related to project intake, prioritization, and delegation.

• Partner with Department & Section business leaders to identify functional business needs.
• Guide Enterprise Business Solutions project prioritization & resource allocation across SIA to optimize enterprise technology investment.
• Set enterprise strategic direction and lead organizational transformation through project management activities.
• Participate in technology governance and work to advance organizational analytics maturity.
• Lead software purchases, project planning, implementation, and administration of business-critical systems including facilitating vendor discussions and contract negotiations.
• Develop data analytics strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business decisions and innovation.
• Manage the creation and presentation of reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate insights effectively to stakeholders including all governing IT Bodies. Ensure these outputs are actionable and meet business requirements.
• Oversee all aspects of cybersecurity for the organization. This will include managing confirmations of system security and emergency patches and research and implementation into new cybersecurity tools and resources.
• Oversee the investigation of all cybersecurity incidents and direct the implementation of counter measures to mitigate recurrence.
• Provide direction, mentorship, and supervision to the data analytics & EBS leadership. This involves guiding their work, setting goals, and ensuring their professional growth.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
• 5-7 years of experience in data analytics development or data engineering, with experience in leadership and supervision.

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
