Electric Motor Repair Mechanic

Kirby Risk Mechanical Solutions and Service has an excellent opportunity for a Mechanic in Lafayette, IN.

What will I do as a Mechanic?

• Test, troubleshoot, disassemble, provide failure analysis, and re-assemble electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other mechanical apparatus.
• Provide on-the-job training in specific motor repair techniques.

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade School coursework, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
• A solid desire to continually learn
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair is a plus

What are some of the Physical Requirements?

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Stand
• Use of Hand Tools

What is the schedule?

• 7a – 4p Monday thru Friday with On Call Rotation Mandatory
