Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety programs in manufacturing/laboratory operations. Responsible for OSHA/regulatory compliance, safety inspections, audits, employee training, incident investigations, and continuous EHS improvement
.

• Conduct EHS inspections, audits, Gemba walks, and corrective actions.
• Provide safety training, including new-hire, forklift, and crane training.
• Perform JSAs, PPE assessments, and incident investigations.
• Manage chemical inventories, SDS, and chemical safety programs.
• Track EHS metrics, trends, and corrective actions.
• Partner with operations/engineering to resolve safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of EHS/Safety experience, preferably manufacturing.
• Strong OSHA, chemical safety, training, audit, and investigation experience.
• Hydrogen/flammable chemical knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
