WCMS is seeking a PRN Occupational Health Nurse III (RN) for 3rd shift (11p–7a) coverage at our on-site occupational health clinic in Lafayette, Indiana
.

This role is ideal for nurses who excel in independent decision-making and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment. The position provides flexible PRN scheduling (minimum 1–2 shifts per week) and the opportunity to be part of a proactive occupational health and safety team.

• Deliver assessment and treatment for occupational injuries and illnesses
• Serve as the independent on-site nurse during assigned 3rd shift hours
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with EMS or external providers as needed
• Conduct employee health screenings, surveillance exams, and post-injury evaluations
• Administer drug testing, fit-for-duty, and return-to-work assessments
• Document all encounters and ensure compliance with WCMS and client standards
• Promote employee health education and safety initiatives in partnership with EHS leadership

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Indiana)
• At least 2 years of clinical experience (occupational health, emergency, or acute care preferred)
• Strong emergency response and triage capability
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently and communicate effectively across teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Prior experience in occupational health or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with OSHA and Workers’ Compensation regulations

• Pay: $55 per hour
• Schedule: PRN, 3rd Shift (11p–7a); minimum of 1–2 shifts per week
• Benefits: Not applicable for PRN positions
