WCMS is seeking a PRN Occupational Health Nurse III (RN) to join our on-site occupational health team in Lafayette, Indiana
, providing 2nd shift (3p–11p) coverage.

This position offers flexible PRN scheduling with a minimum of 1–2 shifts per week. The nurse will independently manage clinical operations, respond to workplace incidents, and support the employer’s safety and health initiatives.

• Provide professional nursing assessment and treatment for occupational injuries and illnesses
• Serve as the on-site nurse during assigned 2nd shift coverage
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate advanced care when necessary
• Conduct OSHA-mandated and employer-required health surveillance and screening exams
• Perform drug screens, fit-for-duty, and return-to-work evaluations
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support health education, case management, and employee wellness initiatives

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (occupational health, emergency, or acute care preferred)
• Demonstrated triage and emergency response proficiency
• Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with site leadership and employees

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial occupational health setting
• Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, and Workers’ Compensation requirements

• Pay: $55 per hour
• Schedule: PRN, 2nd Shift (3p–11p); minimum of 1–2 shifts per week
• Benefits: Not applicable for PRN positions
