KC Services is hiring HVACR Technicians to join our growing team!
KC Services is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, but our work extends throughout the greater Midwest. We have technicians located throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, the Louisville area, and southern Michigan, allowing us to provide service across a large regional footprint.
For this position, we are especially interested in technicians in and around Lafayette, IN as well as surrounding areas.
We offer competitive pay of 25–40 per hour based on skill set, experience, and technical ability, along with an excellent benefits package for you and your family.

What You'll Do
As an HVACR Technician with KC Services, you will diagnose, service, repair, maintain, and install residential and/or commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Your responsibilities may include:
Diagnose and troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
Perform HVACR service, repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, refrigeration equipment, controls, and related systems.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Use diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, recovery equipment, and other HVACR tools.
Identify system problems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions and recommended repairs.
Complete accurate service tickets and documentation.
Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle and work area.
Follow all safety procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
Provide exceptional customer service and represent KC Services professionally.
Participate in an on-call/emergency service rotation as needed.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for technicians with the skill, experience, and attitude to succeed in the field.
Required
HVAC, HVACR, or refrigeration service experience preferred.
Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems.
EPA Section 608 certification or ability to obtain certification.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Professional communication and customer-service skills.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in hot, cold, confined, and outdoor environments.
Ability to safely lift equipment and materials.
Preferred
2+ years of HVACR service experience.
Commercial HVAC/R experience.
Refrigeration experience.
Experience with gas furnaces, heat pumps, rooftop units, boilers, and HVAC controls.
Electrical troubleshooting experience.
NATE certification or other industry certifications.
Experience with service-management or dispatch software.
We value skill and experience. Pay will be based on your actual technical ability, experience, and qualifications.
