Acadian Client Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Contract Review Resolution Specialist located in Lafayette, LA.

Job Location:

Lafayette, LA – This position is based in the office, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Summary of Duties

Responsible for reviewing all contracted and non‑contracted agreements being submitted to AR2000 for system set up and billing. Maintain conducive and positive working relationships with Customer Relations Supervisor, Business Development Coordinator, Vice President of Operations, and Facility Representatives.

Essential Functions
  • Review Monthly Contracts, Subsidies, Purchase Orders, Facility Contract, Verbal Contracts, Standby Contract, etc.
  • Review Contracted CBSs and Non Contracted CBSs
  • Run reports to gather all transports that are coverage under the CBSs:
    Review to make sure it meets the billing criteria, reprice charges, and ensure invoice is in the correct billing cycle
  • Maintain the Summary of Contract Listing
  • Pre‑Verification on all Stand By accounts
  • Review transports that missed initial Facility edits but meet the Facility contract criteria therefore, may be billable to the Facility
  • Prepare billings both Daily and Monthly for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Private Industry, Governmental Agencies, and Van Transports
  • Facility Deposits — Reconcile
  • Payment Review of Unacceptable or Questionable Payments
  • Review Over payments and Processing of Refunds to Facilities
  • Inbound calls relating to Facilities
  • Correspondence relating to Facilities
  • Prepare monthly Reports for Administration Review
  • Run ancillary reports as requested, such as, utilization for their respective facilities
  • Education and training to facility unit staff
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Facility Contract Billing experience, or Associates Degree and 3 or more years of Medical Billing experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills
  • Understanding of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulations including but not limited to the SNF Consolidated Billing Act, PPS, Hospital Part-A Billing Requirements
  • Ability to adhere to productivity goals and departmental guidelines
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently
