Lafayette area distribution warehouse is currently seeking an Admin Asst/Clerk to assist their Purchasing department. Immediate opening.
Responsibilities- Communicate with customers
- Enter orders into ERP system
- Assist with processing and resolving discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels
- Assist customers with inquiries
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, formulas, data sorting, and filtering
- Proficiency in other MS Office programs
- Experience with Sage 500 or comparable ERP software preferred
- Ability to retrieve information in warehouse area when required
- Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm
- Full‑time, daytime hours
- $17-18/hr (DOE)
- Temp to perm position
- Benefits available after permanent hire

- Reliable transportation to and from job site
