The role of the Producer is to understand client organizations’ needs and challenges. Producers use the Proactive People Strategy value proposition along with Gallagher’s broader capabilities to serve clients. Success in this position requires building, retaining, and expanding a book of business while developing a personal brand aligned with Gallagher’s high‑achieving, collaborative culture.

- Account management support to maintain 10‑20% book growth annually.
- Act as an entrepreneur developing a book of business from your own network in a targeted vertical or employer size.
- Maintain a new business pipeline of qualified leads exceeding four times the goal and keep pipeline data current.
- Consult clients independently and recognize opportunities to bring in other specialists.
- Conduct client discovery confidently with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, CHROs).
- Schedule check‑ins and briefings with the Client Service team and lead strategy discussions.
- Execute internal client account review meetings to ensure retention and identify expansion opportunities.
- Include executive sponsors as appropriate and brief regional leaders on key account status.
- Partner with Gallagher Benefit Services, establishing an internal support network within 30 days, applying the Organizational Wellbeing model within 60 days, and connecting with global producers and division leaders within six months.
- Seek and share feedback on performance, train junior teammates, and advocate for succession planning.
Required
:
Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
Preferred
:
Professional designation such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM.
