Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the organization builds safe, durable, and affordable homes. This position requires a mission-driven individual committed to stewardship, value-based purchasing, and operational excellence.

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, supplies, equipment, and services to support construction, administrative, and ReStore operations. This role ensures purchases align with budgets, policies, safety standards, and organizational goals.

• Source and purchase construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Track inventory levels, costs, and project budgets.
• Create and manage purchase orders.
• Maintain procurement records, pricing history, and reporting documentation.
• Improve procurement processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Background in construction, project management, supply chain, or procurement preferred.
• Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and procurement tools.
• Ability to balance cost, quality, availability, and mission impact.

Time Commitment:
Full-time, Monday–Friday; occasional evenings.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000
