Pension Administrator

Broussard Poché, LLP is seeking an experienced Pension Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our pension plans are managed accurately and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone highly motivated, who enjoys detailed technical work, values accuracy, and has hands-on experience in retirement plan administration.

Key responsibilities include:

• Compliance and nondiscrimination testing
• Preparation of Forms 5500, 8955-SSA, and 1099-R
• Coordination with clients, plan sponsors, custodians, and advisors
• Ensure that all plans remain in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Provide support to client and plan participants during enrollment, claims, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in retirement plan administration
• Professional certification such as QPA, QKA, or CEBS
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of ERISA and other pension-related regulations
• Knowledge of retirement plan compliance and filing requirements
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
• Professional communication skills
• A client-service mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
