Industrial Parts Specialist

We're looking for an Industrial Parts Specialist to support customers by identifying products, preparing quotes, processing orders, and helping solve day-to-day equipment and maintenance challenges.

This is not a cold-calling sales role. Instead, you'll work directly with customers who need hoses, fittings, adapters, valves, and other industrial components to keep their operations running. If you've worked around equipment, parts, maintenance, repairs, manufacturing, construction materials, or industrial products, this could be a great fit.

Whether you've been a parts specialist, service advisor, mechanic, maintenance technician, or worked in industrial distribution, we're looking for someone who understands how mechanical components work together and enjoys helping customers find solutions.

• Respond to customer requests for quotes, orders, pricing, and product information

• Help customers identify the correct hoses, fittings, adapters, valves, and related components for their applications

• Prepare accurate quotes and process customer orders

• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and lead times

• Track orders and communicate updates to customers

• Support walk-in customers at the branch counter

• Build strong relationships with customers through responsive service and product knowledge

• Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met

• Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems

• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in industrial products

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to learn technical products and understand how components work together

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys the technical side of equipment and components but wants to move away from the physical demands of turning wrenches every day. You'll leverage your mechanical knowledge to help customers solve problems, source the right parts, and keep their operations moving.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lafayette, LA.

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.85/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
