Radiology - Breast Physician

Job Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: Ongoing (locum tenens coverage)

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, on-site only

• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only, no call

• Practice Setting: Outpatient Breast Center

Practice Scope:

• High-volume breast imaging (40 patients per shift)

• Breast biopsies and breast imaging required

• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required

• Must be Board Certified in Radiology

• EMR: Epic

Facility Details:

• Trauma Level II facility

• Patient population: adult only (no pediatrics)

• Support staff: 1 RN, 15 office staff

• No resident or APP supervision required

Requirements:

• Active Louisiana medical license or IMLC Qualification- IPL will help with Licensure!

• Board Certification (Radiology Breast specialty)

• Breast Imaging Fellowship (required)

• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS

• Estimated credentialing: 120 days

  Ochsner preferred hotel list and corporate codes available

Additional Information:

• 1 2 providers needed for ongoing coverage

• Holiday coverage not required (major holidays excluded)
