• Provide engineering support primarily for lubrication and cooling domain on large commercial engines.
• Determine suitability of applying existing components and/or sub-systems to new engine design programs or upgrades to existing applications
• Lead and manage requirements definition, design concepts, analysis/simulation, design down select, validation activities within the NPI / CPI process
• Lead and support the closure of formal CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) and NPI (New Product Introduction) issues
• Lead team meetings with Lube Systems suppliers to manage existing purchased finished components and to develop new purchased finished components from concept thru start of production
• Collaborate with internal process partners, suppliers, and internal/external customers on multiple projects that will be taking place simultaneously
• Create and present informal and formal design reviews

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum and 3+ years of progressive work experience
• Component and system level design experience
• Experience with Large Engine NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) process and timelines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills

• Knowledge of Engine components and sub-systems
• Component level design experience with castings and fabrications
• CREO 3D modeling
