Your RoleAs a Civil Engineer EIT at LCR & Company, you’ll work closely with senior engineers to design and deliver high-quality projects. This is a design-focused role with opportunities to expand your skills and take on more responsibility as you grow.
Key Responsibilities- Use Civil 3D and Autodesk Storm & Sanitary Analysis to prepare construction plans and technical drawings
- Develop designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Perform drainage impact studies and related hydrologic/hydraulic analyses
- Prepare cost estimates, quantities, and supporting calculations
- Coordinate with other disciplines and review design components for accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with field data collection, construction observation, and client meetings (approx. 10% travel)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Ability to obtain Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification within 6 months of hire
- 0–5 years of relevant civil engineering experience (new graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Experience with hydrologic & hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS or similar software preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic
