Positions in this class perform non-routine technical work on electrical engineering projects, with responsibility for applying theory and principles of electrical engineering toward projects in their area of assignment. This position plays a key role in bridging the gap between sales and engineering by providing technical support for business and enterprise service design. Responsibilities include performing site surveys, preparing cost estimates, developing outside plant designs, and conducting return‑on‑investment analyses to support new commercial, wholesale, and MDU projects.
The position reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager and works closely with engineering and construction teams to ensure project accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Technical training or an associate degree in electrical or telecommunications engineering and experience supporting network design or construction. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or GIS‑based systems.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONPossession of valid driver’s license.
TYPE OF EXAMINATIONExamination will be a written test.
