Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders. Conduct a psychosocial assessment, develop initial discharge plans, and provide individual, group or family sessions as appropriate. Provide treatment planning, maintain documentation, manage caseload, participate in treatment team meetings, collaborate with staff, perform case management, and maintain a positive professional attitude.

Patient safety is a top priority.

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to treat diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
• Conduct individual, group, or family sessions as appropriate.
• Provide initial treatment planning and coordinate additional services.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services per professional standards.
• Maintain assigned caseload.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff.
• Deliver services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Perform case management, discharge or after-care planning.
• Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and resolve complaints.
• Recognize patient safety as a priority.
• Perform other assigned functions.

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services with CSW or above; PLPC or above.
• Minimum one year of experience working with comparable patient population.

• State or national licensure for professional therapy providers; eligible for state licensure.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.
