This job cleans and services guest entrances, patient rooms, public areas, clinical spaces and administrative offices, maintaining a clean
*** and
* ** aseptic environment.

None. Ability to read, write, and speak/understand verbal communication in English in order to follow instructions and perform daily tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Experience in operating environmental services equipment (required)
• 1 year relevant experience (Preferred)

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning and cleaning equipment/supplies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed.
• Ability to listen and take direction and complete job tasks with minimal supervision.

• Maintain assigned area in a clean and aseptic manner.
• Maintain environmental closet and equipment in a clean, aseptic and orderly manner.
• Assist with restock of café and bar where necessary.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and room turnover.
• Follow all current Joint Commission / CMS regulations pertaining to Environment of Care and cleaning requirements.
• Remain knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws and accreditation standards, ensuring compliance.

Heavy work: occasionally exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force, frequently 25 to 50 pounds, or constantly 10 to 20 pounds. Must use mechanical lifting devices or team lifts. Work with chemicals and possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, hazardous medications and waste.
