Position DescriptionSeeking a Dev Ops Engineer to support secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role focuses on CI/CD engineering, cloud infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code, and production reliability, with a strong emphasis on standardization, security, compliance, and software engineering practices.
This position is required in one of the following locations:
Birmingham, AL, Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC or Lafayette, LA
The engineer will build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot and optimize delivery workflows, develop reusable pipeline templates, and help modernize legacy deployment processes through Git Ops and cloud native practices. The role will also support automated cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Cloud Formation while partnering with development and operations teams to improve delivery speed, reliability, and consistency.????
Required qualifications to be successful in this role- . 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, CI/CD, or software engineering environments.
- . Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab, Jenkins, or similar enterprise tools.
- . Experience with Terraform/Terraform Enterprise and Infrastructure as Code;
Cloud Formation is a plus. - . Strong cloud infrastructure experience, preferably in AWS environments.
- . Experience developing reusable CI/CD templates, automation, and standardized delivery processes.
- . Hands on experience troubleshooting pipeline failures, deployment issues, and production reliability problems.
- . Understanding of Git Ops, version control, security, and compliance practices in regulated environments.
- . Strong software engineering skills, including scripting or programming for automation.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
