Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long‑Term Acute Care (LTAC, ICU, CC).
Location:
Lafayette, LA. Full‑time days or nights. Direct hire opportunity with Louisiana Extended Care Hospital. Competitive salary + shift differentials. Comprehensive benefits and PTO. Supportive, mission‑driven culture focused on quality outcomes.
- Deliver hands‑on nursing care to patients with complex medical needs.
- Work closely with RNs, physicians, and the care team to support personalized care plans.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and basic treatments, and accurately document care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting recovery and long‑term well‑being.
- Ensure care is provided in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Active LPN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
- 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience strongly preferred.
- BLS required; ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
- Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
